Continuation of Elementary Spanish I.

Prerequisites: d SPAN 1115 (Elementary Spanish I) or equivalent. Uses same materials as SPAN 1115. Access to internet connection is required.

(I) SPAN 2115     Intermediate Spanish I
Further development of speaking, listening, reading and writing skills, along with short cultural and literary readings.

Prerequisites: d SPAN 1225 (Elementary Spanish II) or equivalent. Access to VCR is required.

(A) STAT 2013     Elementary Statistics
An introductory course in the theory and methods of statistics. Descriptive measures, elementary probability, samplings, estimation, hypothesis testing, correlation, and regression.

Prerequisites: d MATH 1483 (Mathematical Functions and Their Uses) or MATH 1513 (College Algebra) or equivalent.

3 Semester Credit Hours;             22 Assignments;             5 Exams
(A) STAT 2023     Elementary Statistics for Business and Economics
Descriptive statistics, basic probability, discrete and continuous distributions, point and interval estimation, hypothesis testing, correlation, and simple linear regression.

Prerequisites: d MATH 1483 (Mathematical Functions and Their Uses) or MATH 1513 (College Algebra) or equivalent. Basic statistics for undergraduate business majors. No credit for OSU students with credit in 2013 (Elementary Statistics) or 2053 (Elementary Statistics for the Social Sciences). All graded assignments must be returned to the student before taking exams and before exams are mailed to the proctor.

(A) STAT 2023     Elementary Statistics for Business and Economics
Descriptive statistics, basic probability, discrete and continuous distributions, point and interval estimation, hypothesis testing, correlation, and simple linear regression.

Prerequisites: d MATH 1513 (College Algebra) or MATH 1483 (Mathematical Functions and Their Uses) or equivalent. Basic statistics for undergraduate business majors. No credit for OSU students with credit in 2013 (Elementary Statistics) or 2053 (Elementary Statistics for the Social Sciences). All graded assignments must be returned to the student before taking exams and before exams are mailed to the proctor. Access to a DVD player is required.

STAT 4033     Engineering Statistics
Introduction to probability, random variables, probability distributions, estimation, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, and linear regression.

Prerequisites: d MATH 2163 (Calculus III) or equivalent. No credit for OSU students with credit in STAT 4073 (Engineering Statistics with Design of Experiments). All graded assignments must be returned to the student before taking exams and before exams are mailed to the proctor.
